Application cookies
No application cookie is required for ordinary public reading. The site does not use a cookie to create a reader account, advertising segment, or browsing profile.
Local storage
A release-specific key may remember that a reader dismissed a public notice. The value remains in the browser until the reader clears site data or the notice identifier changes.
Search requests
A public search sends the submitted words to the same-origin search route. The application does not build a search-history profile, although a requested URL may appear in normal server logs.
