Full scope

Paws for Cause is building a stronger network of local animal shelters and rescues that our high school chapters can support through useful, student-led projects.
We’re looking for a volunteer to help research and qualify potential shelter/rescue organizations. The work includes identifying legitimate organizations, verifying public contact information, reviewing their volunteer or partnership policies, identifying potential student-friendly needs, and organizing the findings into a structured outreach list.
Potential projects for chapters may include supply drives, adoption-content support, educational campaigns, shelter events, fundraising tied to specific shelter needs, or other activities requested by the organization.
This role does not involve contacting minors privately, representing Paws for Cause as having a partnership that has not been confirmed, or making commitments on behalf of shelters.
You’ll work with existing PFC templates and systems, so you won’t be starting from zero.

What happens after you express interest

  1. 2IX saves a private application record with your message, contact email, and consent acknowledgement.
  2. The steward receives a WordPress mail notification or any connected notification integration.
  3. The organization reviews fit, availability, screening needs, and project readiness before follow-up.
  4. If the work moves forward, use the project context brief and acceptance criteria as the shared definition of done.

Submitting interest is not a placement guarantee. It is the safest first step: enough signal for a steward to respond without exposing private contact details publicly.
